- No matter what marquee you ride, it’s all the same wind.
- Gray-haired riders don’t get that way from pure luck.
- A good long ride can clear your mind, restore your faith, and use up a lot of fuel.
- Don’t argue with an 18-wheeler.
- The twisties – not the superslabs –separate the riders from the squids.

- Always wear your helmet
- Be aware of your surroundings
- Dress weather appropriate
- It's not about the destination but about the journey
- Keep an eye on vehicles with 4 or more wheels, they may not be keeping an eye on you
- Let little kids sit on your bike
- Take it all in, and keep it with you
- Take the unknown road, you might be pleasantly surprised
